# Troubleshooting Windows Error: 0x80010135: Path too long when extracting DRAGEN Array Local zip file

The DRAGEN Array Windows CLI Installer is available from the [DRAGEN Array Software Downloads](https://support.illumina.com/array/array_software/dragen-array-secondary-analysis/downloads.html) page. Users may encounter the following error in Windows when attempting to extract the DRAGEN Array Local zip file.

An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file. If you continue to receive this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem.

Error: 0x80010135: Path too long

![](/files/7t99VmhAJyepJCY0cr9L)

Windows extracts files to a folder with the same name as the zip file by default.

The error occurs because the total file path is too long to extract with the default zipped folder name.

![](/files/MT8KA08louKTtfp1h9wg)

The recommended workaround is to extract to a folder with a shorter file path, which enables all files to be extracted successfully. See example below:

![](/files/sPKVtqQ2WYRWRnCzE68C)

Once the files are extracted, the resulting subfolder will still retain the full zipped file name.

![](/files/PoYUz8xWgTA2VynGT1GT)

Shortening the zipped filename is not recommended. Retaining the full name is important for software traceability.
