Index and UMI information for the Illumina miRNA Prep kit

What are the sequences of the indexes?

• This kit uses Unique Dual (UD) indexes that are unique to the Illumina miRNA Library Prep kit: the Illumina miRNA Indexes. The index sequences are available in the Illumina Adapter Sequences Document under "miRNA kits". Illumina offers four unique 96-well index plates: Sets A, B, C and D.

• Note: Other Illumina index sets, including the Illumina DNA/RNA UD Indexes, are not compatible with the Illumina miRNA Library Prep kit.

Are the Unique Molecular Identifiers (UMIs) random? If not, are the sequences available?

• The UMIs are random; therefore, their sequences are not provided.
