# What is the difference between process management and disk management on the NextSeq 1000/2000?

**Process Management**: governs Universal Copy Service (UCS) data transfer and DRAGEN secondary analysis requeue. Runs cannot be removed from this location, only requeued for DRAGEN analysis.

* The Process Management screen displays temporary runs that are stored in /usr/local/illumina/runs. Each run is identified by run date, name, and ID.
* Information such as status of Run, Secondary Analysis, Output Folder, and Cloud are also shown for each run. Select the run to view additional information, including Workflow, Average % Q30, Total Reads PF, and Total Yield.

**Disk Management**: allows deletion of runs and clearing of hard drive space. This will delete the local temporary run folder only (in /usr/local/illumina/runs). This will not remove the run from the output location, even if that output location is the local drive.

For more information, see [Disk Management on the NextSeq 1000/2000](https://knowledge.illumina.com/instrumentation/nextseq-1000-2000/instrumentation-nextseq-1000-2000-reference_material-list/000002445/?utm_source=agent\&utm_medium=email\&utm_campaign=kb).
